Diva's challenge and weekly tiles.

For Laura's Weekly Challenge #213: "Traced Object Strings"


This week's challenge is to trace an object to create a new and interesting string.

I traced one of my candlestick and my corner cutter.

Here's the end result:

  4. Wow, you have a lot of work here and very different pieces. Like you, I've been a bit circle and zendala minded this week - they're very satisfying, aren't they? You have an excellent touch with combining light, shade and colour, I feel I could learn a lot from these.

  9. Very nice! I was really struck by the pattern you used on the left side of your Diva challenge tile. Every thing is gorgeous and the 3-dimensionality is inspiring!

  10. All beautiful, as always. I am not sure which I prefer - with colour or without! I have scrolled backwards and forwards and I think actually, your black and white tiles are beautiful enough as they are.....and then I see the coloured version and I think wow....Always inspiring! Axxx

  13. They are all beautiful Lily, it's very hard to pick a favorite. I love the traced string, your choice of items to trace was unique. But I knew that it would be beautiful....you are one of the artists that I go back and look at time and time again. You always do such beautiful work.
