  1. I haven't visited your blog before but I'll keep coming back now. Your work is so, so beautiful. I particularly like what you did for IAST 125 - using a pale grey for background tangles is not a technique that I've seen before.

    1. Welcome on my blog! The pale grey background is Sonya Yencer's technique. The tangles are drawn with simply pencil.

  23. Lily it's hard to find the right words to express my admiration of your work. I would love to be in your mind when you sit down to do a tile. For some reason I am finding that I still, after all this time, seem to have a "fear" to deviate from the way the tangles are presented in their original form. I know it's so silly, it's not like I am going to be punished for not doing it a certain way, but my hand simply refuses to move in a fluid, carefree kind of way! Anyway, I will keep admiring your work, and perhaps one day I will loosen up enough to produce something extra-ordinary! Keep motivating us! Brenda CZT #13 South Africa
